The Rio Paralympics Games got a big boost on the eve of its inaugural ceremony as one fifth of the total 1.6 million tickets were already sold by the tourists. The Games are scheduled to be opened on Wednesday and the news comes as a good boost for the organisers. The Paralympics flame was already lighten on Tuesday at a ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on the eve of the Games night. A total of 3,00,000 tickets were sold until last Sunday mostly by tourists from US, Germany, Britain, Japan and France. After a successful Summer Games in Rio last month, the city has geared up for the Paralympics and the Games set to boost the tourism for the country and city in particular. The organisers said that the sale of the Paralympics Games is higher than the sale of 2008 Beijing Paralympics Games.
