In a bid to revive their chances in the four-match Test series, hosts West Indies have prepared a lush green turf for the upcoming second Test scheduled to start on Saturday against India at Kingston in Jamaica. The hosts went down in the first Test by a mammoth innings and 92 runs to trail 0-1 and now they hope to make a comeback by drawing parity in the second Test. They have also strengthened their pace attack by naming uncapped speedster Alzarri Joseph.
It the green turf may not guarantee success against India as the visiting side too have good pacers in their side in Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Bhunveshwar Kumar who can use the conditions to good effect. It is to be seen whether the decision of a green turf will work in their favour or against them.
