Rohit to play, Raina not fit yet

Indian limited over opening batsman Rohit Sharma, who injured his biceps during the second ODI match against New Zealand regained fitness and will be available for the third ODI scheduled to be played on Sunday in Mohali. However, Suresh Raina, who made it to the Indian ODI side after a gap of an year, yet to recover from the viral fever. He was ruled out of the first two ODIs after effected with the viral fever during the Uttar Pradesh’s opening Ranji match against Madhya Pradesh in Hyderabad at the start of the month. After leading UP on the first day, he remained indoors for the next three days where his side suffered a big loss against MP.

He was seen hitting the nets at Ferozshah Kotla in New Delhi for an hour. But he was ruled out of the second ODI without revealing the proper reason. It was understood that the team management did not want to bench Kedar Jadav who provided crucial breakthroughs in the first ODI.
