It has been more than an year that Team India limited over captain MS Dhoni had hit a century. Three years to be exact. And an year since his half century where he played 10 ODI matches. There was a lot of pressure on Dhoni to prove that he still has the ability to finish the game. Sunday was one such opportunity where he had to assert his authority over the game. And that is what exactly he did. He promoted himself to fourth position and scored a crucial 80-run knock and added 151 runs with Virat Kohli (154 no) to steer India to an easy seven-wicket victory.
The Team India captain and vice-captain are complementary to each other. Dhoni said that batting with Kohli gives him time to settle and both of them are good runners between the wickets so that helps them rotate strike easily. On the other hand, Kohli said that Dhoni batting at no.4 is good for the team as he expresses himself better and absorbs pressure
