Jamaican Usain Bolt etched his name in the history books as the sport’s greatest ever athlete by
Winning his third straight gold with his 4X100 metre men’s relay team to achieve the rare triple triple. He now successfully defended his three golds in Beijing in 100m, 200m and 4x100m gold at London four years later and also in Rio in the ongoing Olympics to become the first man to do so. Bolt, who announced that this Olympics would be last before the start of the Games, will now bade adieu to the track on a high with nine Olympic gold medals. When compared to the most decorated athlete of Olympics Michael Phelp’s 28 medals, Bolt will fall short but he is one hell of an entertainer that looked running easy for naked eyes.
